YOU MUST ALREADY KNOW HOW TO USE THE SEWING MACHINE, LAYUP FABRIC AND USE A SIMPLE PATTERN. If you have done The Basics course you are welcome to join us Part 2 - MAKE YOUR OWN CLOTHING – BEGINNERS – 7 Classes You will learn everything you need to know to start creating your own wardrobe. • How to take measurements and work with a commercial pattern • How to cut and sew with woven and single jersey fabric • Make your own garments chosen to teach you basic construction techniques • We will go fabric shopping so you can learn how to choose the correct fabric for your pattern. Budget about R300 for fabrics You will need a set of basic sewing tools - available on order. Contact me to arrange a Starter Kit IF YOU CANNOT DO TWO MORNINGS PER WEEK, CONTACT ME AND LETS TALK

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for registering for a sewing course with Sew it Together Studio. Please note the following: PAYMENT : A full deposit must be paid on registration to guarantee your place. Your registration will be acknowledged by email but your space is not guaranteed until the deposit is received. : The remaining balance is due before the course starts or on the first day, unless arranged otherwise. REFUND : Course fees will only be refunded if cancelled 14 days before the start date of the course. : Your deposit is NOT refundable if you do not cancel within 14 days. : You may sell or gift your place on the course to someone else if you are unable to cancel 14 days before the start of the course. GROUP COURSE CANCELLATION : If the group course is cancelled due to too few registrations, we will switch to private classes in which case they would be two hours long. This switch might include up to two people in the classes. MISSED CLASSES : Missed classes are not refundable. : You may make up missed classes at an extra cost of R450 per hour or you may join another group to catch up a class if they are working on the same material.
