LEARN TO CONSTRUCT A BASIC TEE SHIRT

EMPOWER YOURSELF .....Construct your own pre cut T shirt over a cup of coffee with friends in a 2-3 hour workshop. We will make it easy for you - no cutting required, everything set up for you. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN How to sew with a single jersey fabric, How to attach a neckband How to piece together a Tee - the same technique applies to hoodies, sweatshirts, jerseys and many other kinds of garments How to use a twin needle to get a professional hem finish HOW IT WORKS Let us know your size and we will precut your t shirt for you. We will show you how to construct the Tee and use a twin needle to hem it. The machines will be set up for you, your cut panels will be waiting for you, all you have to do is show up and enjoy the process. LENGTH OF WORKSHOP Up to 3 hours but usually 2 hours is enough to put together a Tee WHAT YOU NEED A desire to learn something empowering A basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine - like how to thread it, load a bobbin, use the presser foot, how to follow the stipulated seam allowance. Cancellation Policy
Thank you for registering for a sewing course with Sew it Together Studio. Please note the following: PAYMENT : A full deposit must be paid on registration to guarantee your place. Your registration will be acknowledged by email but your space is not guaranteed until the deposit is received. : The remaining balance is due before the course starts or on the first day, unless arranged otherwise. REFUND : Course fees will only be refunded if cancelled 14 days before the start date of the course. : Your deposit is NOT refundable if you do not cancel within 14 days. : You may sell or gift your place on the course to someone else if you are unable to cancel 14 days before the start of the course. GROUP COURSE CANCELLATION : If the group course is cancelled due to too few registrations, we will switch to private classes in which case they would be 1.5 hours long. This switch might include up to two people in the classes. MISSED CLASSES : Missed classes are not refundable. : You may make up missed classes at an extra cost of R450 per hour or you may join another group to catch up a class if they are working on the same material.
