Service Description
Learn how to take proper body measurements, choose your correct size on a pattern and how to work out how much fabric you need for the pattern. This is a short hour long workshop and essential if you want to participate in any of the Beginner Workshop series We will provide various kinds of patterns for the workshop Cost is R280 for approx 1 hour. UPCOMING WORKSHOPS DECEMBER 2025 FRIDAY EVE 12th 6-7PM (A must if you are doing any of the clothing workshops) In this workshop I will take you through how to take your measurements properly and then use them to choose the correct pattern size to work with. If you are between sizes I will show you how to grade between the different sizes. When you have located your correct size you will then work out how much fabric to purchase

Thank you for registering yourself to learn a fun new skill and have some sewing fun in our Introductory Workshop - Learn to use a sewing machine. To guarantee your place, please pay in full. Missed workshop will not be refunded but you may reschedule your booking 48 hours before the workshop date or you are welcome to sell your space on to another person or gift it to a student who may not be able to finance their training. PLEASE let me know if you will NOT be attending as I will be preparing materials and going ahead with the workshop based on the number of paid registrations. If you have gifted the workshop to another please let me know so that I have their name. I cannot wait to have some sewing fun with you.
