Service Description
Sew your own project while I teach you how to use a sewing machine. In this 2 and a half hour workshop you will learn how a sewing machine works, how to thread it and start sewing. I will teach you about seam allowances, and your very first sewing technique. Sssh I'm not saying what it is! Its a surprise. We will make a small funky project to take home with you that will remind you that you can 'make your own', every time you use it, which could be daily. This workshop is the first class in our Basics Beginners course. If you are enthused after this fun workshop you may want to sign up for a full beginners course and change your life. Sew it Together has sewing machines and all the tools you need. We will provide the materials for the workshop Cost is R550 for two and a half fun hours. Thank you for registering yourself to learn a fun new skill and have some sewing fun in our Introductory Workshop - Learn to use a sewing machine. To guarantee your place, please pay in full. Missed workshop will not be refunded but you may reschedule your booking 48 hours before the workshop date or you are welcome to sell your space on to another person or gift it to a student who may not be able to finance their training. PLEASE let me know if you will NOT be attending as I will be preparing materials and going ahead with the workshop based on the number of paid registrations. If you have gifted the workshop to another please let me know so that I have their name. I cannot wait to have some sewing fun with you.
